GNH World Project is thrilled to announce its Spring 2011 sojourn to Bhutan to meet with the Gross National Happiness Commission, including Karma Ura, Karma Tshiteem, and other GNH officials.  We’ll travel with GNHUSA’s Linda Wheatley, and other happiness-focused professionals.  We hope to meet with the Bhutan Nuns Organization as we prepare to launch fundraising efforts for the women of Bhutan as they choose to become nuns.In addition, we’ll be trekking for several days in the Himalayas to meet the land, animals and peoples in which Gross National Happiness was originally birthed.

The trip will also include Thailand, Nepal and India, in which GNHWP will meet with as many types of people as possible, interviewing, eating, chatting, photographing and documenting our own experiences of happiness and that of others along the way.
